Marco: Star! hurry up it's already 5:35 we gotta go! Marco yelled to star while she was still getting ready.
Star: I'm coming! Star yelled as she came walking down the stairs. Marco's jaw dropped when he saw Star, she was wearing a blue dress with a purple floral pattern and of course fer devil horn headband.
Marco: Y-You look um so... Marco couldn't finish his sentence because of how beautiful she looked.
Star: Um Marco are you okay?
Macro: Hmm what? He said not paying attention. Oh yeah I'm fine! He said quickly.
Star: Well in that case, how do I look? She said as she twirled in her white flats.
Marco: Yeah you look great! Stunning actually. He said giving her a smile which made her blush.
Star: *blush* Thanks Marco you look great too. She said smiling at Marco, which made him blush too.
Marco: Mom Dad, Star and I are leaving now! He yelled to his parents.
Mr.and Mrs.Diaz: Okay, be back before midnight!
Marco: Shall we go? Marco said holding his arm out for Star.
Star: Yup! Let's go! she said said happily, but not grabbing his arm, she instead grabbed his hand and waked to the car.

When Star and Marco got to the party they walked in and saw Jackie and Janna and went to go talk to them.
Star: Hey guys what's up?! Star yelled over the music.
Jackie: Nothin much we've talking about how we can't wait for winter break. How about you guys?
Marco: I've been studying for an algebra test, so it's good to get out. Plus Star kinda forced me to come. He laughed as he nudged Star with his elbow making her laugh. Little did they they know Jackie and Janna noticed something different between them (Marco and Star had also become good friends with Janna).
Jackie and Janna: Hey Star can we talk to you in private for a sec?
Star: Is something wrong? Star said with a questioned look.
Janna: No no! it's just um, I've got a cramp and I need emotional support. She quickly thought of a lie.
Star: Oh! um okay. Star said kind of confused. I'll be right back Marco. Star said and Marco nodded. And Star left with the girls while Marco went to talk to Ferguson and Alfonzo.

Star's conversation with Jackie and Janna

Janna: Sooo Star what was all that with Marco?
Jackie: Yeah, we saw the way you two looked at each other and when you laugh around him it's different from your normal laugh it's kinda like a...
Janna: Flirty laugh! Janna said filling in the blank of Jackie's sentence.
Star: What?! I do not flirt with Marco! He's like my best friend! Star said, her face flushed with obvious redness.
Jackie: Oh yeah, then why are you blushing?
Star: I- um- it's hot in here. She protested
Janna: Okay one you were just fine a minute ago, and two it's the middle of November.
Star: Okay so what if I do like Marco. So what?
Jackie: OMG Star you like Marco awww!!!
Janna: I saw this coming from the beginning you guys are so cute together.
Star: Guys shut up and don't you dare tell Marco.
Jackie: Oh don't worry we won't. Jackie said with smirk as she looked at Janna. When Star left the bathroom, Jackie and Janna looked at each other, gave each other a sinister smile and said, "but you will tell him". Then they left the bathroom

Meanwhile when Marco is talking to Ferguson and Alfonzo

Alfonzo: So Marco, are you and Star still going strong?
Marco: What do you mean 'going strong'? Marco gave his friends a questioned look.
Ferguson: He means are you two still dating? He laughed
Marco: Dating?!? We're just friends!
Alfonzo: I don't know man, when you're around each other you guys just act different.
Ferguson: Yeah, like the way you two talk and act. Marco thought back to this morning when he realized that he's in love with Star.
Marco: *blush* umm, so maybe I do kind of... love Star, as more than a friend.He said as he played with his thumbs.
Ferguson: What?! You love star! Ferguson yelled but not surprised, he knew Marco had feelings for Star he just didn't think he would admit it.
Marco: Well um I don't just love her, I'm IN love with her.
Ferguson and Alfonzo: What!?! We gotta go tell Star!
Marco: No! You can NOT tell Star, if she finds out it could ruin our friendship! After that whole dramatic scene, you (the reader) now know that Star and Marco are in love with each other but they don't know that. See what happens in the next the next part of 'The Dare'.
